Rosato as it is known in Italian is a wine that incoporates some of the colour of the grape skins but not enough to qualify it as a red wine. We typically enjoy drinking rose wine in the summer months, they are perfect principally light salads, light pasta and rice dishes, especially with seafood, raw and lightly cooked shellfish and grilled fish and goats’ cheeses
